Damien, resident chef of the Taj-I Mah, a passionate who treats you to a meal in the heart of Massif de la Vanoise!

With a Maître d’Hôtel father, he was awoken by the taste at his very young age. Damien Ruffier, resident chef of the Taj-I Mah Hotel 5* Arc 2000, supervises the two restaurants. 

He followed his professional studies in the famous school Tecomah. Then he worked at Spring in Paris with chef Daniel Rose, he did two winter seasons at Cheval Blanc in Courchevel with Boris Campanella and La Réserve with Eric Canino. This is a beautiful experience which lead him to Arc 2000 and the Taj-I Mah Hotel 5* Arc 2000.

He arrived here with his partner Vera Ramos, her assistant chef and were very welcomed. The goals to rich and the philosophy were the same between Damien and Eric Samson. There is a very strong family atmosphere inside the team and he likes challenges to satisfy his clients. It is a lot of work but the smile people have when they taste his cuisine is his best reward.

At Diamant Noir and l’Atelier d’Eric, or the Bar Lounge  and Terrace, come to taste the gourmet pleasure in altitude !
