Hotel Koh-I Nor in Val Thorens : Tour de France 2019 partner

The hotel KOH-I NOR ***** opened exceptionally for the weekend of the amateur tour which took place on July 21, 2019 with the welcome of 15000 participants and also had the pleasure to welcome 4 professional teams for the 20th stage of Tour de France

After an arrival at 2366 m altitude, a night of rest at the hotel KOH-I NOR 5*

This last decisive stage saw the new Yellow Jersey Egan Bernal in a muscular rise of the climb of Val Thorens as well as our compatriot Romain Bardet, winner of the polka dot jersey, which we had the pleasure to welcome to the Hotel.
We had the immense honor of having among our hosts the teams AG2R la Mondiale, Katucha Alpecin, EF Education First and Total Direct Energie for this last stage of mountain.

59.5 km climb, despite a shortened stage, the show was still at the rendezvous and the arrival acclaimed by the many spectators who chose to be part of the party!

The weather has been mild this Saturday after the hectic day and the cancellation of the last part of the race the day before with the stopping times at the top of the Iseran and the impressive hail falls making it impractical arrival in Tignes.

It was in a festive and friendly atmosphere that the teams joined the hotel and were able to benefit from all the services at their disposal. All the staff of the Koh-I Nor ***** was mobilized to make this moment an unforgettable moment for the runners but also for the lucky customers who could share convivial moments with the present teams.
We thank Tour organizers for their trust, the riders, the staff, the journalists for this internationally renowned event that highlights our resorts and hotels Lodge and Spa Collection !
